Default 2 Jl 10w6....what Amp?!

Ok so im dont really understand how to match an amp with subs im sure its simple and im just retarted but what would be better for my 2 10W6's does the 500/1 do the job or do i need to go for the 1000/1??

this is right from the jl website. For bes quality I would push one 500/1 to one speaker. So you would need two...

there the 2 that come in the JL box so there already wired and everything if i had to use one amp which would i be better off with?

Personally I would go with the 500/1. You do not want to over power your speakers and blow them. Besides a 500/1 pushing two 10w6's will not dissapoint you in any way...If you dont mind me asking what kind of box and how much you end up spending. I am looking into speakers right now...

I wanted that but couldnt justify spending that kinda loot for that when it ultimately still takes up most of the trunk space..

are you talking about the JL stealth box? If so, it comes with W3's, not W6's

If you are going with a sealed box, use a 1000/1, if it's ported a 500/1 will be plenty.

i would go with the 1000/1

you can actually blow your setup easier with the subs underpowered. go with the 1000/1 but just make sure you tune it properly and dont jack up the gain and you'll be fine.
