Problem: Tweeter making "beeee" sound. HELP!

Default Problem: Tweeter making "beeee" sound. HELP!

I just got my car today and so happy about it, but after I drove the car back home and suddenly I heard a "beeeee" sound from my driver side tweeter. Then I try to restart a few time it just occur randomly. I hope anyone out there can HELP me with it..

Somemore when the "beee" occur and I step on the brake it will make a "tap" sound from the tweeter.

It sounds like you have a metal part of the tweeter, or one of its terminals touching the vehicle's chassis. This will introduce pops, clicks, hums, buzzes, you name it, into the speaker. Make sure you use insulated crimp type connectors, or wire tape your connections to avoid this problem. I doubt the speaker is bad, but you don't want the vehicles chassis to be a ground return, the chassis is a VERY noisy environment for audio...
