I have an ipod video which i will be hooking up to a screen in the next week or so. my quesiton is that when i am outputting the video to the screen will it output all the time? for example when i am just browsing the ipod for songs etc will that also show up on the screen or is it only when i play a video etc?

Only when playing the vid..I have this hook up in my car and all u do is plug it in and choose a song or a vid. Make sure your vid settings are right otherwise it wont play on the scree.
