Default Are there different OEM NAV units for the 350Z?

I'm just curious because I have an 06' and part of my deal was the dealership was going to install factory navigation and told me I'd be getting an upgraded version. Thanks

Good luck having them install a factory navigation. If the car doesn't have it installed at the factory it is very difficult to install because there are so many wires and connections that have to be made it is very expensive and hard. Your best bet is for the to give you a $2,000 aftermarket DVD/Nav system. It will work better and be better for everyone involved.

All they could mean by upgraded is you could be getting the new disc, I think 7.2 that came out a few weeks ago.

The dealer has ordered it and part of our deal was that it would be installed at no extra cost also. I don't care how hard it is to install I'm not doing it they are and they're paying for it.

They are going to have to rip apart half of your car to get it in there...last thing I would want to do is buy a new car and have it taken apart again.

Last thing I would want to do is spend as much as I did on this Z and not have navigation. Besides working the navigation in at no extra cost I also worked in a 5 yr 60k bumper to bumper warranty at no extra cost so I think I'm covered for a while.

Yah they must've known the headaches they would go through to install nav in a Z that didn't come with it. They had an eclipse av50d installed.
