i get good discount off the cd7000.

i like it, it has great sound quality, i like the big **** for the functions of the ipod . and how it can glow amber

Anyone have it? or got opinions on it

 

It's a very interesting unit - GPS option for $200, iPod for $30 - nice. No steering wheel controls from what I can tell. I'm still looking for a unit for my Xterra.

 

I really like the Eclipse cdxxxx series. I bought an Eclipse CD4000 for one of my employees as a gift (her stock HU died). Great HU. Good reception, nice sound from CD's and the radio, adequate built-in amp, and a very intuitive interface. And, it looks great.

Reveiw's say the face plate sticks out a bit farther than most HU's. I'd go see on installed fist if I was you to make sure you are happy with the asthetics also.

 

yeah i read that also. im not to worried about how bad it sticks out. ive seen pictures of it installed on some cars.

 

!! thanks for your input. all the reasons i really want this unit. that and the fact i get 50% off msrp. but the thing i found weird was that a lot of the Z guys or actually ... all?? havent even posted any with a cdxxxx series
