Frustrated...what is the CORRECT Optima part number...
Sorry for re posting what I'm sure is on this board somewhere but does anyone have the right Optima part number for the Z. Red or Yellow Top would be fine...Thanks a million in advance.
Regular starter battery, go with the 35 Red, its cheaper than the Yellow tops and fits in the hole with the adapter and weighs 33lbs.
Light weight, D51R Yellow. Its taller but thiner and only weighs 26lbs.
Car audio, CarPC etc. D35 Yellow. Its one inch shorter but comes with an adapter to make it the same hight, its the same width and length as stock and weighs 37lbs.
This site list the specs.

Note: I needed to change the ground terminal on my car because the Optima negative post diameter was too small. I used a 10" premade cable, sanded down a dime size spot at one of the original bolt holes and use a slightly longer bolt. Others have suggested wrapping coper wire around the post to thicken it up a bit.
Thats probably not definitive but those are your choices
