Default amplified Antenna?

Is the stock Z radio antenna amplified? I just installed a new head unit and the FM reception sux. Going to pull it back out tonight and check the wiring. I had a Blue UFO wire that I didn't hook up and that must be the power going to the amplified antenna (Assuming it's is amplified)
Thanks

Yes it's amplified.

LG is color code for light green.
G/W is a dark green wire with a white stripe.

I found the answer out in the Service manual.
It does have an antenna amp.

It's for any head unit that uses the stock antenna. Sounds like you need to do what I just did and pull it back out and connect the wire that powers the antenna amp. It's in the bigger connector and I believe it was blue with white stripe. Connect it up to the power anntenna lead of your new head unit.

I am having the same issues.
any one have pics of this?

Should I connect the blue and white wire to the blue wire that would be used as remote start for a after market amp?
