well, valentine 1's newest models have new technology called POP2... what is the difference between the original POP and POP2?? is there a lot of difference or if any at all? any help would be great, and yes i did SEARCH lol

 

I just got one for xmas and there's nothing in it that says anything about POP2, only POP. The Valentine site doesn't mention anything either. Can you provide a link to your source of POP2?

 

yea on the site it doesnt say anything either, but if u put in a serial number of a detector with only POP it will say that POP2 is a new update... also if you check on ebay it will say the newest ones are 1.8v POP2 like this one...

You're right, there apparently is a new POP mode. It's described as a 2-Band POP mode. Here is the description from the POP page...

I'd have to totally agree with you. After just having it a week I'm in love with it. I don't know why I waited so long and don't see how I did without it.

I'm doing the stealth install this weekend (hopefully), just need to figure our what I'm going to need in the way of another wire to reach from the hatch to the front.

 

What do you mean by stealth install?

Has anyone relocated the sesnor inside so you can hide the unit? Would it be possible?
