05 dodge ram install.
Bing is always posting his installations on here. So I thought I would post one we did at the shop today. Nothing really custom about it just alot of highend gear.
I really wanted to post these pictures because I am always seeing different DIY installs that are complete crap. As well as shop istallations. These are how your installs should look in your car. Anything less and you probally are not getting the sound you are paying for. All wires should be ran clean, rca's away from power and ground. All wires should be heat shrinked and soildered. Make sure all grounds are paint free and you have a solid piece of metal you are mounting to. Try not to use preexisting bolts and holes because believe it or not alot of times there are special coating's in those locations that will not alow for a good ground. The main thing is keep everything tidy there is no reason for a rats nest when it will only take a few extra min to zip tie and keep everything organized. If you are paying a shop and they are not doing this level of installation then I would not personally shop there, or I would ask what it would take to do this.
Here is some of the product put inside this car.
Mb Quart 3 way QSC's - 6.5 in door. 4" in dash Tweeter in A pillar
Alpine PDX 4150

Pioneer 880 PRS

Do you pay to post pics and descriptions of your installs?

I'm the owner of that vehicle, and I've very pleased to say that I now have an installer I can recommend without hesitation in the DFW area. Steve was excellent to work with, and he actually knows a lot about products Tweeter doesn't even sell!! Very hard thing to find nowadays. Steve also had several good ideas about how to approach things...something I haven't experienced since my newbie days 7 years ago.
