I did some searching and it seems that everybody is leaning towards the JL 1000/1...are there any other suitable options that don't cut quality?

thats what I thought as well...but after you run through the price of a 2 JL amps along w/ all the necc cables and wiring..it really starts to add up. Just wanted a nice alternative...as a side note I picked up ed nine2 fror the fronts instead of the polk amp - the rms at 4 ohms seemed to be a little closer to the speakers capabilities.
