I read on a post someone mention that Nissan Japan have a double din frame that will accomodate a double din aftermarket deck. Ive ordered the sony wx-7700mdx from melting-pot, however there rnt ne good installers here that could custom make a double din frame near as good as toronto350z's.

Does ne1 have info about purchasing this Nissan double din frame, r there ne english links or do i have to navigate thru Nissan's japanese site???

Plz help, time is running out, and i so want this deck installed the day after it arrives on my doorstep.

 

Any decent stereo shop should be able to make a custom dash trim that will fit perfectly. That is what I had done.

I got one from Nissan in Japan. Forgot the part number. But it was only $30 and it looks good.

does ne1 have ne pics of the Nissan OEM frame, preferably with a double din deck fitted within it?

double dim system I'm interested is

it's dimmension is 178mm x 100mm x 160mm (WxHxD)
autosoundgear double dim part seems to have narrow edges, which I believe it's gonna be too big for system or to small for the dash.

guess i need to do more homework!

 

You can google for 350z radio mounting kits and the kit from Bestkits dot com comes up. They have single and dual kits for the 350Z both for under $22 each.

From what I understand, in the next few months there are going to be a number of kits available.
