Default Just ordered my Pioneer AVIC-D3!!

Payed $800 on ebay w/shipping + insurance.

Should be a nice unit...too bad it uses dvd based nav.

well it would be much more expensive if it had a hard drive...plus its fine for me since an ipod+cd changer takes care of everything.

congrats!!!
i was gonna buy one but lack of HD and USB connection didn't fulfill my needs. But as dspiel said, IPOD and CD changer really take care of everything.
I wish I have an ipod lol

as far as the dvd navi goes, once ur route is set u can pop that dvd out and play ur own cd/dvd, its got a built-in RAM for navigation... so its all good... awesome deal dude

I put one in my car last saturday. I wish it had two slots , one for DVD one for nav.

I have one on order. Any idea if you have to use any type of adapter besides the harness provided by places like crutchfield? I don't know if I will need some type of PAC connector. What did you use?

You only need the radio harness. The PAC connect is for 06's and up unless you have retro fitted remote steering wheel audio controls to your 05. You might also need an ipod adapter?

can someone link me to where I can order the wiring harness to connect my avic-d3 to the non-bose stock stereo? I don't know how to solder.
