Rockford Fosgate should have a lifetime warranty against failure (IIRC they did 10 years ago). Find an authorized dealer and see if they can help you get a new one...

My buddy has those in his car.

I'd try contacting Rockford and just having them fix it, even if it cost you a couple of bucks.

thats not a bad amp from RF...i think it would make for a nice wall art piece in my garage

i am not sure if its wroth it to fix it, but if someone who has their own skills gets hold of it, he/she perhaps can repair it on their own?

the type RF series were some of the most expensive amps ever made by RF

they ARE also the best sounding amps RF ever made

they make more powerful ones today

but the X series were the most refined

i use X2 and X6

love them

not sure what is broke on it trying to get it from nothing remains

i only want it for the chrome cover
