Anybody know how much Sq Ft to buy in sound dampeing material. I intend to do the fornt two doors and the complete hatch area.

Also, what sound dampening is material has a good price and quality. I was interested in E-dead.

I used about 60-70 sq.ft. doubling up on the rear and front wheel wells. You could get by with 50 sq.ft. by limiting the amount you do inside the doors and not doing a double thickness.

^^^ What he said for amount needed.

As far as brands?
Edead is good, Raamat is another popular brand that is well priced and well reviewed. I personally like FatMat. It's cheap, the new stuff is a butyl based, and it sticks to absolutely everything without any panel prep (always follow directions for best results, though). I've used it for over 8 years in about a dozen cars and never had a problem.

What Paul said~ 60 sq. ft. will be plenty for the hatch and both doors.

I'm a Raam Mat fan. Butyl based, good reviews

good.
I really hope I notice a difference with my music, and road noise....I never have a fully matted car before...but now That I have a turbo I'm not too worried about adding a little weight to the car.

It's 62.5 sq feet per their website.

That extra 2.5 sq feet might make a difference......
