best way to connect speaker wires?
As the title states, what is the best way to connect two pieces of speaker wires, while maintaining the highest level of quality? I know the best would probably be to solder the wires, however, I am there are too many wires for me to even consider soldering.
Here's my situation...When installing my stereo, I had the shop bi-amp the components and I requested that they mount the crossovers close to the amp with excess wire so that in the future, I may run the components fully active. However, the crossovers were mounted in the kick panels. Now I am stuck trying to figure out how I will connect 8 pairs of wires.
All wire manufacturers swear by OFC, silver, gold, wire pattern, etc. Is there something better than some crappy butt-connectors or quick-connectors that I can use? Thanks for all your help.

i will say this, if you just any type of solid metal to metal contact connects, you wont be noticing ANY drop in SQ within the speaker wires.
i use quick disconnects to make the major connections on all my speaker wires...bullet type male/female is good. spade is fine as well but need to get isulated. this makes for easy diagnosis and trouble shoot if a problem arisess.
