No kidding, we ran out of serial ports and ended up having to install a PCMCIA serial card to give us a couple extra ports. I'll search for the code this week.

alphared- That interface looks great! I'm curious how you programmed it. I've never done much windows programming, but I'm assuming you are using Visual C++ or com? Or are there prebuilt API's out there for this type of windows programming?

Most of my experience is with enterprise j2ee apps. I think using java for that interface would be a pain to get it to talk to the pc's peripherials. Plus it would be resource hog.

Yes, you can do this mod to your factory Nav system, as well as get TV and a 2nd video input.
