They will sound good, but not like the maxima with a bigger trunk and box.
I put a sub behind the seat also, so that makes 3 10s for me. Depending on your taste it can become overwhelming, so i installed a JL Audio bass **** which will adjust the bass to all different levels. (from off to all the way up) It is like an upgraded cross-over and works beautifully.

Same as above....are they in separate chambers?
Forget the (2) 10's, there isn't enough airspace in those boxes to get really deep bass. You can get a single 12" under the strut bar. You will have way deeper bass, move about same if not more air and drop your install cost in half.

This box is custom made by xtremekustoms on ebay. You will have to do a search since he doesen't post them on ebay anymore due to demand. I bought one from him a few months ago and its a damn nice enclosure. It has about 1.25 cu ft of internal space.
I have a JL Audio 12W3V3 in it and it sounds awesome! It sounds way better than the single Alpine Type-R 10 I had in there and it was no slouch! The JL 12 is twice as loud, twice as deep, and hits twice as hard!

The Zenclosure box is seperate chambers. Or atleast that is what he lists. Mine hasn't arrvied yet (due today) so I haven't seen it first hand.. I hope that it is seperate though? Why wouldn't it be?

i know 10" Brahmas, 10" ID Max and 10" RE that will hit harder than 2 12w3

To be fair though, I also changed amps...

I'd say go with one... these are sport cars... i like to keep it subtle and very clean.. one sub, one amp, both aesthetically pleasing = good stuff!
Generally speaking, you can probably have a good setup w/ 2 10's at .8-1.1 ft box. If you want to only have 1 sub but a lot of power look into Image Dynamics IDMAX10, JL, Adire.
If you get 2 subs in the sealed enclosure but feel it's not hitting low enough. you can buy polyfill from fabric stores, walmart etc.. Similar concept to the cotton suggestion i suppose (never heard of using cotton b4).
Keep in mind 1 12" sub will be just as strong as 2 10's. It will most likely hit a lot lower too.
I personally have 2 Image Dynamics 10" subs. 800w RMS feeding them..

Okay guys... I added a second 200w Infinity 10" basslink last night... It does hit harder now... But not night & day harder. It just "fills" the car more completely now without sounding strained... I'm trying to figure out a stealth capacitor mod for my next evolution of my sound system... Since I have 700w amp total now... 300w up front, and 400w in back.
These aren't glammer shots, but you get the jist... :-)
