Default Do i need a new battery?

i left my car sitting for a month during winter storage without ever starting it i went to montreal for new years and just got plain stupid and forgot .. so i jumped started the Z like 2 weeks ago and it went the problem is my stereo can't play for like longer then 2-3 minutes cause its not holding charge that great anymore since it was completly drained out during that one month so the only time i can turn the stereo on is when im on the highway goign fast runnin off the alternator.

my question is, would bringing it to a store to get it charged again give it some more life or do i just plain need a new friggen battery?

thx

It sounds like you need a new battery. Go to your local Sears Automotive and get a Die-Hard.

+1 on a new battery. I doubt it if the alternator went bad.
Do this: Jump start you car. Pull the postive negative terminal off the battery. Make sure not to let it bump up against any metal parts, just put it in a small trash bag or something. If the car stays running, your alternator is putting out voltage. If the car shuts off, your alternator is gone. If the car stays running, get a new battery.
