Default do you dynamat your doors?

I plan on getting focal 165v1's, is there a need to dynamat the doors? is there alot of vibration/rattling? I know there would be alot of rattling in the trunk area from experience, dunno about the doors though.

Also can i use 1 amplifier to power a sub and the components, or would i need a multi channel amp for the components, and a mono amp for the sub? thanks

1. yes the nissan doors have a lot of rattles, so yes i do recommend dampening, then agian, i dont even use stock locations on 90 percent of my Z installs

2. you can, as longa s the amp has the right channels and power requirements to power everyhting, you can go wtih a single amp or use multiple amps.

I put dynamat on the floor pan and the doors. Noticed big difference in the doors especially. One guy I know, he put dynamat on the inside of the door panels as well as on the door itsefl...

Doing the outer door skins is worth it, at least around the speakers. I did at least 2 layers on both the outer and inner door skins, along with the plastic door itself. I also added 2 layers of ensolite to deflect noise. The difference is astounding

i've done everything except the floor pans...I think this is where alot of noise comes from as well, but I'm so lazy...I guess i'll do it this weekend...I'm so ready to hear how quiet the car is now.

Yes...
I used spray-on-bedliner I bought from Pepboys. It goes on nice and even, not to mention it covers all those wierd cracks and creases on the inner door. You'll find the door panel is not even or user-friendly. Just make sure and tape up everything you don't want to permanently stain by accident. It's a messy job, but worth it IMO.

I used sound deadening to the extreme on my doors, that coupled with Nazar's pods sound outstanding with a ton of mid bass and clear sounds. However, my next project will be with eDead due to the ease of use and similiar results.
