Default JL thin subwoofer

Anyone see this thin woofer yet? Just wondering if it gets as much bass as a regular JL sub. I was thinking maybe throw it in the Z's 10" location? The one listed here is 12"

With only 9.7mm of excursion, I doubt it. I have seen people use 10" subs that are designed for boats in that location.

You're right, 9.7mm is not moving that much air. I'd still like to hear one though.

Well, looks like they won't be available for a few more months.

Seem everyone is making "thin" subwoofers these days.

Did you use the 4ohm version and does just bolt in? I'd buy this if it's just a simple swap.
