Default parking wire indash dvd player

i need the parking wire to connect to my indash dvd player. it says it wont work unless the wire is connected to the parking lamp/ emergency brake switch. there is only one wire to the e brake i that the wire i hook it up 2 ?

most of the time all you need to do is ground the wire, unless you want it to only work when parked

+1 but if you have a pioneer you are SOL

Just ground the wire so you can use it while in motion. If it's a Pioneer you need to mod the gyro w/ a switch (which voids the pioneer warranty)

All You Have To Do Is Bypass The Brake And Install A Togle Switch Then All You Have To Do Is Flip The Switch Then It Should Work On Some Models You Have To Flip The Switch On And Off 4 Times Before It Comes On

if you have the avic d3 you dont have to buy a toggle or anything, just ground the wire and move it to a different spot on the harness. check out avic411.com

Does it apply to the stock navigation as well? Not have the passenger input addresses is so annoying. I wonder if the seats has seatbelt detection Nissan would disable the "protection."
