Default Where to buy Valentine 1

I have been following the many great threads here on radar and have decided to get the V1. Where did you guys buy it and how much? I'm looking for a good online source. Here they are retailing for $550.00. I saw the valentine one website is 399.00. Any recommendations.

The only place you can order a new one is through Valentine One themselves.

You can find some for decent discounts on Ebay but be careful! There have been several updates/upgrades on the V-1 over the years and the version you get used on Ebay may not be the most updated version.

don't they update your version for free as updates come out?..i guess that would be a disadvantage of getting it off ebay..

you can get them updated, but i beleive they charge you a certain fee, depending on what they are upgrading. Click on upgrade and youll see how much it cotst to go from whatever model, to the new one.

Correct. The upgrades aren't free. You send in your unit and they send you a new upgraded one. The price depends on what version you are sending in. The older it is, the more it costs to upgrade.
