Which is gonna sound better/ be louder. 2 10w3v3s pushed by a jl 500/1 in a jl stealthbox or a single 12w6v2 pushed by a 500/1 in a xtremem customs sub box off of ebay? Thanks. Or would I be better going with a 10w7 in a zencosure?

Will it be louder/ clearer than the 2 10w3v3's thats what I have now.

 

i dont understand this forum his question was w6v2 12 not a 10 w7 read the thread. i think it will be about the same loudness but i think the w6 will sound clearer and sound better.

 

why dont you like your stealthbox just not loud enough or what?

 

I currently have (1) 10w6v2 in a Zenclosure "stealth box" powered by a JL 500/1 and it pounds.

compared to the JL audio stealth boxes I have heard running off of 500/1's, mine blows them away.

 

If the 10w7 is 1/2 ohm stable and the amp can push wattage at that resistance I'd go for the single speaker! Just my 2 cents!

The JL Audio 10w7-3 can be configured in either 1.5 or 3.0 Ohm. A JL Audio 500/1 is stable between 1.5 - 4.0 Ohms.
