zenclosure box has less air space Approximated .75 cubic feet of airspace.
but the back of mike's box is flush and stealth.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissa...0519QQtcZphoto
however mikes other box with the amp rack has more space Airspace: approx. 1.35 cu. ft

so to me it comes down to what the back of the other box looks like.. and how much air space you need for the sub you are planning to use

I've got a Zenclosures box specced to just over a cube....VERY happy with the quality. Give Mike a call and talk to him, he was great to deal with and the sub fits nicely.

well i dont have the sub yet i dont have the box yet im deciding between two of them. The zenclosures has it listed on there there is a pic of a w6 in the sub on the website so assuming it has plenty of airspace. thanks for all the help though fluid your comment really helped me out alot.

I have a Diamond D6 10 in this same box (.85 cu ft) and Diamond suggests .625 cu ft, and I think it sounds fantastic. I was going to reduce the volume using the method I described above, but figured I would hear how it sounds without doing that first. I have no future plans of reducing the volume.

Larger volume makes the sub louder (and more prone to failure), a smaller volume makes the sub quieter, and to a small extent more precise. But the rec. volume is what you should aim for.
well i already ordered the box and the main reason i went with the other guys is because of the Z its different and i think it looks great if you check out a couple pics on his site it looks very clean. Pretty sure ill be happy with it should be here tomorrow.
