I am looking for a sub to pair up with my Polk SR's and DLS RA50 amp that will be providing 365 watts at 2 ohms. The sub will be enclosed in a custom fiberglass wheel well enclosure. I was considering two 10"s but wanted to keep it simple with the one twelve. I would like a nice balance of SQ/SPL, but need something fairly versatile, but more focused on rap and tech music. I somewhat narrowed it down to either an Image Dynamics (not the IDMAX), Polk Momo, or maybe a memphis audio sub. I am really trying to keep it under $200 from woofersetc.com.

 

ID or IDQ would be my choices, there are few others subs that can sound as good with in their price range, not to mention their low depths makes it easier for your application.

I think I narrowed it down to the IDQ or JL 12W3V3

if it was down to 12w3 and a idq12, i would take the idq12 in a heart beat, just a better SQ sub iMO...

as far as FI goes, id ont htink he has enough power to do it justice.

Yeah, that was the only drawback of going to the five channel amp from my nine4 and nine2x, but I wanted to change it up a bit and your review of DLS forced me to try it. lol

I tried to narrow it down to the subs that I felt I could power, I think I am going to order the ID today. woofersetc. has it for $200 shipped right now. The 10 is only $160, but I figure the extra forty would be worth it.
