Angry I hate glassing

So I am spending today glassing in two 12s to the back of the Xterra. My old 3x12 MDF box was just too large.

So far I have made the "rings" and the two molds to the corners .... all that is left is to stretch the fleece and then strenghten the snot out of it.

Seem like good progress since 10am, right .... well ... I was steamrolling along until I decided to be a retard and forget to put in enough harneder on this last batch. Now my truck is parked in the sun, windows up ... hoping it heats up enough in there to get this stuff to set quickly.

Oh well ... I'm kinda bummed

I'll post up some install pics in a bit ... its gonna be kinda nice ... nothing fancy ... no paint, only rhinoliner. The idea is that it still allows me the ability to put in my road and mountain bikes on my lil' diy fork rack.

It's for a pair of sealed W12GTi subs driven off a Crown BPX2200.1
Rest of the system ... as it has been for a while is
- AVIC-D2
- Alpine H701/C701 DSP Control
- Pheonix Gold M44
- JBL 660GTi fronts (expecting them maybe in the next few weeks)
- JBL 608GTi rears
- 2/0 welding cable
- doors and some of the hatch deadened w/ some generic stuff

I can't wait to see the final product. I have an ab-roller in my garage too! I think everyone has at some point.

looks good, but that looks like an awfully small enclosure for hte gti?
guestimating around .7 cub feet net? and the sub takes up a lot of space? just curious, maybe it sjust the angle of hte pics hehe

not enough hardner is always better than too much, no warpage and no catching your stuff on fire lol

It'll be a small box .... I'll be using brute force to make it sound the way I want I made a .75cf test box (one 12) and rode around with it for a while .... it still got lower than most 12s and really had ton of punch to it.

I was just sick of hangin 4k in bikes on the back of my truck ... I am safer, happier this way .... and I'll sacrafice a tad of SQ.

I'm kinda funny the way I work with glass ... I almost never use a brush and mix it with my fingers (gloved of course) .... and once it is "warm" ... I know I need maybe 2 drops more .... I never count or measure anything. I remember being retarded and using hot glue on my stilts one time ... I came back to find a hardened pile of collapsed box ...
