I have all the wires run to the nav and gps (kna-g510 and lz702w) but I need to know where I tap into the power. There are wires for parking brake (grounding that one), reverse (not using), accessory, battery, and ground (obvious). My question is where do I tap for the accessory and battery power. I'm guessing from the stock head unit I would tap, but I'm not sure which wires are what. For the monitor I think it was it said don't connect the battery to the battery, so does that mean the accessory and battery for the monitor are going to be tapped to the accessory of the factory head unit?

Are these the proper wire colors for the wiring harness for the factory radio?

Radio Constant 12V+ Wire: Yellow (battery wire from the head unit?)
Radio Switched 12V+ Wire: Light Green (I would tap the accessory wires here)
Radio Ground Wire: Chassis
Radio Illumination Wire: Red/Blue
Radio Dimmer Wire: n/a
Radio Antenna Trigger Wire: Green/Yellow
Left Front Speaker Wire (+): Blue/Red
Left Front Speaker Wire (-): Black/White
Right Front Speaker Wire (+): Yellow/Red
Right Front Speaker Wire (-): Red/White
Left Rear Speaker Wire (+): Light Green/Red
Left Rear Speaker Wire (-): Black/Yellow

Assuming you are ADDING ON a nav in the cubby above the OEM radio. Then your question about constant and switched power sources was semi-answered already by push:
The switched +12v on your nav and screen should just be turn on signals and therefore draw very little so you could use the Light Green wire behind the OEM headunit. HOWEVER, I would be discouraged by the current draw of the nav and screen system you bought to just tap into the headunit's resources for constant +12v. You are better off running a FUSED constant +12v from the battery.

What year is your Z? Does it have the Clarion headunit or Bose headunit? Is it USDM or JDM? Did you not get harness adapters with your new headunit? Perhaps you could purchase harness adapters to make your install easier.

Year is 2003 and equiped with Bose system. I can't get an adapter here because I am from Malaysia. Hopefully someone can help me out.

With the factory Bose system, you can't just 'swap out' the headunit without the proper adapters.

Yeah, I noticed that. But I must first find out the respecitve speaker wires and then try to modify the radio wire harness or use a hi-to-low for conversion of signal.

You can't just add LOC to the speaker outs and expect it to work. Bose has a proprietary topology interaction between the headunit and amp and speakers that work as a single system. Replacing one part disrupts the balance. There is a PAC adapter that you NEED to use. I did a search (very simple to do) and found this link for you:

This PAC adapter removes your need to locate a wiring guide.

If you would like I can fly out to Malaysia to install the headunit too.......

By the way, the PAC is for 1995 - 2002 Nissan vehicles with Bose audio system , will it work?
