Default Replacing Bose system in 07

I have an 07 Touring with the Bose system w/ the sub and Bluetooth hands-free system. Now, I'm not too found of the Bose system in it... sure the 6 CD indash changer is neat, but overall it sucks. However, I don't want to lose the Bluetooth functionality.

I have an Alpine 9857 w/ XM tuner and the steering wheel controls adapter unit for it that I pulled out of my 07 tC when I traded it in. I'm thinking of picking up new speakers and a new sub (as well as amps) to replace all the stock stuff, and preferabbly keep it all in the stock locations (replace the stock sub with a better one, etc). Is it possible to preserve the bluetooth hands free system if I do this?

Also.. what speakers/sub/amps would you recommend for such a setup?

I have an 06 with the Bose sys, so no bluetooth, but I would not mind having it. So I asked the guys of our local Z club, and our local dealership, and they said it was built into the radio. so my only upgrade was to replace the whole radio.

See, I love my bluetooth in my 07. I love having the built in mic and controls and everything. So instead of replacing the stock bose headunit I am keeping it and installing a CarPC in the factory nav slot. Plus I get to keep the stock look =)

I am not too found of losing my steering wheel controls especially for my bluetooth and having to get a mic instaled with a aftermarket headunit. The aftermarket steering wheel control adapters I have seen, dont do all of the controls (like bluetooth answer/hangup).

Just a thought though.

+1 now just waiting for the first clean install using the new cubby design. I have yet to see a clean clean one.
