i was considering getting a 13" w6v2 w/ a 500/1. is there pre-made boxes for this or do i have to get one custom made.

i was also wondering if anyone knew someone who could also make the box to specs.

i have a 2 12" w3v2 w/ a 500/1 rite now. should i stay or upgrade?

If you upgrade but stay with JL, I would get 2 12" w3v3. 1 13" w6v2 won't be any louder or sound any better than 2 12" w3v2.

Definitely look into Zenclosures. He will make any of his designs specific to your needs.

Then go for the 12 W7. One will be louder then the 12w3's or the 13. Check JL's site on the specs. I have the two JL 12w6v2's and it's MORE than low enough and bows my back window... OH yeah it's Hz NOT "nots"

 

2 W3'S will sound louder in the car to the human ear than 1 w7. It has more cone area and is a great street setup. I have experience with both of these subs.

I wouldn't put a 13w7 because a 12w7 sounds the same. A 10w7 is perfect for the z though.

 

He is wanting lower Hz than a 10" can give(even a 10W7).. Again check JL's site for the specs.

I have had w3's in my Z and upgraded to the 1 W7. Sound quality and loudness is better with the W7, duh.

I do miss the deep bass from a larger sub that my 15" L7 Kicker Square sub and 1k amp sounded in my Infiniti G20 though.
