Default Installation of speaker behind driver seat..

Hello!
I have an 2003 350z. I would really like to put a speaker in that blank behind the drivers seat. Has anyone had any luck with that type of installation. I don't even know where to purchase the kit. An installer told me he would need directions to do the job.

If an installer tells you he needs directions to install a speaker, you might want to find a different installer.

The Nissan tech manual would be helpfull to locate all the garnish clips.

You basically have to take all the inner panels off from behind the seats all the way to the trunk.

Hint, to pull out the to upper storrage. There are vent holes on the top side, all the way in. Use these to grab some hold and yank the pockets out.

Default Thank you

Thank you for the information. This is my first 350z. It is my first fun car for that matter. I want to learn more about the mods available for this car. I am definitely a rookie!!

are you talking about the glove box behind the drivers seat?

a quick search would have given you that information

Where do you think on the Bose system they place the subwoofer?? I placed a rockford Fosgate 10" sub in there, lined the complete enclosure with mucho HushMat and and mounted the 2 channel amplifier behind the drivers seat below the sub enclosure, then added another 4 channel amp behind the passengers seat using the the ground block from the original amp, just have to add some decent speakers in the doors and behind the seat. When you finish off the car with decent deck and a adjustable bass switch, the sounds get real grOOvy. Worst partof the deal is that your lose approx 3 inches of room when adjusting the seats, all in all a fair trade, oh yeah I am 5'11" tall. I fit the stereo comfortably and the upgraded stereo is in all the original locations.
