You definitely went w/ less popular components, but did a VERY GOOD, and tasteful job w/ the install. I particularly like the panels in the hatch that make everything look flush. Good job. The kickpanel install should do alot to help w/ imaging and phasing issues. One question . . . how does it SOUND?

That's some AWESOME equipment you got there bro. Just looking at it, I'm wondering...are you a member at ECA? Everything you have there is stuff that guys (like myself) over there like. Also, like someone else asked, how's the imaging in the kicks? I had heard that a good soundstage is difficult in a z because of the dash shape. Is the midbass in the doors? Great looking install either way.

thank you guys for the comments. and yes, I do have the 6.5in midbass in the door mounted on MDF rings. As of now, it sounds very good but after the speakers break in, I know it will sound better. these DLS speakers takes about 40-50hrs to break them in. As for imaging, it isn't bad but not perfect. I still need to do some tuning on the system.

D2R, I am a member of a few forums and ECA is one of them. =)
