Complete System Recommendations from tweet to sub
Hey all,
I just bought myself a new 2005 350Z Touring and have been at a loss in trying to come up with a system for my new car. In the past with my last car before the Z, (and this was back when I was really into car stereos) I was running an Alpine CDA-9772 (or something like that), 2 12' Kicker Solo Baric subs, 5 1/4 MBQuarts Seperates Competitions (I believe) for the front, and 6 1/2 MBQuarts Seperates Competitions for the rear. Rockford Fosgate Punch 200 4 x 50Watts for the MB Quarts, and Rockford Fosgate Punch 1000 for the subs connected to a 1K Cap. Nothing fancy. Pretty straight forward and I liked it, which was most important. I want something similar but obviously, I won't have or rather don't want to lose the already limited space for subs. My question is, what are some other 350Z owners using for subs that doesn't compromise too much or no space at all? And what are the most likely places to place amps while not taking too much space? And still keep the spare tire. I'd like to get some ideas as to what others have. And how satisfied they are with their systems. I definitely am looking for a stealthy installation for obvious reasons (prying eyes, and even more so, sticky fingers). I'll definitely be sticking with Alpine headunits, for some reason I have always owned an Alpine. As far as front and rear speakers go, not really sure. MB Quarts have always been a favorite. What else is out there? Been out the audiophile scene for so long now. Thanks all.
