MTX 9500 in a Z??

MTX 9500 in a Z??
So Ive been surfin the net lately but I've yet to see any deep subs like my MTX 9500 in a Z with out an expensive fiber glass box. Mounting depth is nearly 9.5 inchs and everthing ive been seeing under the strut tower is shallow subs. So can it be done with conventional MDF?
