Bose sucks.

Here is yet anothetr example. There is a web site called hometheaterspot that has a lot of discussion about different brands. Here is what they put under Bose. Of course they don't have to say this about any other brands.

Information about Bose products, performance and trouble shooting. NO BOSE BASHING ALLOWED. This is their SPot.

that is one of many, I love home audio, I was actually given a pair of BOSE 901s (thier top of the line home speakers-$1500 msrp) and I THROUGH them away, I tried to add a tweeter for some highs and a sub for the lows, in the end I threw them in the trash (that was before I discovered ebay, I guess I lost out and could have sold them), but they were JUNK!!!

go to Hometheaterforum.com, audioasylum.com, HTguide.com, and just pop in and ask opinions of Bose, you will start a FIRE STORM.

Looks pretty impresive to me.

Do you thinks it's a good time to buy an SACD or DVD-A player? Is there one out yet that plays both? I'd really like a combo DVD, SACD, and DVD-A.

Nice set up Blue. I was going to go with the Outlaw 950 Preamp last year, but got tired of waited for the thing to be released.

Here's a pic of my system:

My HT is more of an afterthought grafted on to my 2 channel system. Was going to upgrade some of the HT components, but the Z took their funding.

Speakers:
Front L/R: NHT 2.9, 4 way sealed box (10", 6.5", 4", 1"), 26 Hz - 26 kHz
Center: NHT AudioCenter-2, 3 way sealed box (2x 6.5", 4.5", 1"), 48 Hz - 26 kHz
Rear: NHT 1.5, 2 way sealed box (6.5", 1"), 53 Hz - 25 kHz
Sub: Haven't yet felt the need for a sub, what with the performande of the 2.9s.

2 Channel System:
2 x NAD 2400 THX, bridged to mono (200W at 8 ohm)
NAD 116 Preamp
NAD 517 5 disc changer
NAD 4080 Analog Tuner
Marantz Professional CDR630 CD Burner
Music Hall MMF-7 turntable
Technics RS-TR157 Tape deck

Home Theater:
Marantz SR-5200 receiver, 90 W/chan to Center and Rears, Fronts to NAD 2400s
Toshiba 27" TV
Tohiba SD-2800 DVD
Sony SLV-N81 VCR

Wow, two Outlaw Audio references! I bought my 1050 ~2 years ago and love it. That said, I'm still thinking about taking the 950 /7100 combo for $1698 plunge...
