What will make the Factory Alarm trigger?
I had my factory alarm go off last night @ 2:30AM. By the time I was out, no one was in sight and the alarm had died... which means i probably was 1 minute behind the alarm sounding.
You guys have any idea what it could have been? I know these factory alarms only sound when the door opens or the ignition column is tinkered with... anything else?

Normally, it requires opening one of the doors, hood or trunk/hatch to set off the alarm. It can also be done by disconnecting the battery (I accidently did it that way). Our cars don't have shock sensors so it shouldn't be a problem of thunder, vibrations, somebody bumping the car, etc.

If I remember all correctly, I believe these events will set off the factory alarm:
1) Opening the doors
2) Opening the hood
3) Opening the rear hatch (coupe) or trunk lid (convertible)
4) Pushing on the gear shift (MT or AT) ...but not sure which years/models
5) Messing with the ignition or the car's electronics (affecting contant power from the battery)
And, these activities will not activate the car's alarm:
1) Pulling on a door handle or pushing the rear hatch release (coupe)
2) Breaking any window in the car
3) Pushing, pulling, or lifting the car (you can steal a Z by putting it on a flat-bed)
