Since my Pioneer Premier is not compatible with my 4G iPod, rather than buy the adapter from Pioneer I figured it was as good a time as any to upgrade my portable player. Then I started thinking about alternatives to the 5G iPod Video (30GB at around $250). Aside from the iPod, what else are people using in their cars? Advantages, disadvantages?

 

i have a zune but i havent tryed to hook it up yet.. Dont know how good it will sound. Hopefully good as im planning on doing it soon.

 

Im running an Ipod video 30gb on my IVA-W205, and love it. Its Full speed interface is great. My boss has the iva-d105 and usb unit and it works good with flash drives, not sure about those small usb hard drives, since the usb unit doesnt have enough power to power the hard drive. Havent used a Pioneer tho.
