Default Puttin my sub in

So im putting my sub in soon. i decided im going to get a piece of wood cut to the size of my trunk, make it thick, and place it where that cardboard plastic piece is (right above the spare). Then im going to cut a hole in it and the carpet piece above it, and set a sub in with the amp into a custom box im making. this is going to let the sub sit in flat with my trunk and not sticking out. i wont need 2 move my spare or nethin, ill post some pics when i get it set up prob in the next 2 weeks.

Is the subwoofer recommended for infinite baffle setups? If not, you may want to switch to something like an Image Dynamics IDQ...because a lot of subs will sound like crap infinite baffle.

Or are you saying you are building a box for it? If that is your plan, what the fukc is special about it?

Are you talking about making a false floor to support the weight of the sub box? If that is what you were trying to say, that is very common, although completely unneccessary in the Z. Here are pics of the false floor I used with an old setup:

no the sub is going to sit flat with my trunk, and the box will be underneath it enclosing it, like take that pic with the sub and move that into the floor its sitting on, so that it is perfectly flat with the trunk
