Need Help! Bose Sub/Amp Problem....
I tried searching and couldn't find my exact problem. I bought my car used in April and the stock bose sub was cutting out when the volume level gets to a moderate level. Well I bought a new bose sub and sub amp and it worked great for about 2 weeks. Today I was driving with the volume pretty low and noticed it was cutting out again. I came home and checked it out, and it is doing the same thing as the first! Now I am thinking something else is causing this? Any ideas?
Is this worth to keep fighting with or should I just try replacing it with an aftermarket sub and amp? I would like to keep the stock bose HU, so I guess if it would be easier to go with another setup I would do that. The car is an 04 roadster with bose and nav. If I decide to get rid of the bose sub, would I just need the PAC-OEM adapter, an aftermarket "free-air" sub and amp to put in the stock location?
Thanks....
