Is it possible to wire a Bose HU in a non bose Z and not have it sound like crap? I understand that Bose uses special speakers but is there a way to make it work? I like the stock look and am mainly looking for the 6cd changer feature of the Bose HU and not the "premium" system sound quality per se.

 

I don't believe this is possible. The Bose system uses an outboard amplifier as well as different speakers. It works as a system, not just separate components.
