Default Laptop Tuning software

I want to find good laptop tuning software that will work with a mac any suggestions?

Look in to the UTEC. I believe its software will work with a Mac, as it is a simple hyperterminal interface.

well it's time for me to do a search to see if i can pirate that cause you guys got my attentino, what is the name of the program and not the hijack the thread buit does anyone know where i can get that cable.

Why would you want to pirate it? It's well worth the $400. You can find them used for a little less.

The USB to OBDII cable is NOT a standard cable. You can't just pick them up at a local computer store. I'm not even sure if the OBDII protocal is compatible with USB.

The creators of that software are on this board, and they've put a LOT of time and effort in to this product.

Are you talking about Cipher? Don't be a weenie and just buy it. It's well worth it. If you buy it legit, then you can get support & upgrades later on. If you pirate software, then you really have no idea what quality you're getting, no support, no upgrades, and developers will have little incentive to develope new and better stuff.

If i were you id just fork up that $400. If you gets some honky pirated version you might f**k your car up and have a bigger headache than needed. But that's just my .02
