Ok, I'm keeping the factory Bose 6 CD in my coupe. Sound is fine, and factory always holds value better than too much custom work, plus if I change the head unit, then speakers, etc, are all getting changed.
So, with that out of the way, I didn't get the navigation with my 07 because of the price they want here.
So what I want is a touch screen that installs nicely in the 07 cubby where I can close the door. That would be wired for audio into the satellite radio module that I am getting that has aux in. Want the screen to talk to a dvd player that I will get installed in one of the narrow compartments behind the driver/passenger seats.
Power Accoustik has a dvd player and 7" screen, but we don't know if it will fit properly as it seems to be too narrow from just trying to fit it in.
Want this to be as clean as possible, which means no big cutting, etc.
Is there any other option available? Would be nice if there was a dvd player for cars that played divx as well.

before you go any further, why do you think that when you chance the headunit into a dvd playing screen, everything else needs to be changed?

all you need is a bose adapter, whcih is not even 100 percent neccessary but yo uwant it cause it kicks down the background hiss when you add a ehadunit.

I like the bluetooth setup as it is now. Where the mic is for my phone, etc. Aren't the bose speakers 2 ohm? Want to add dvd to the system, but keep the head unit the same.
