OK replacing some of my bose system
I currently have the bose and hate it. Here is what im thinking of getting
INFINITY KAPPA 60.5cs 6-1/2" Components $145
ALPINE MRV-F450 5CH 850W $289
Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.1 sub
How is this setup? Im gonna install the sub in the stock sub location. yes i know it wont sound as good but thats were i want to put it. Will the sub help at all there or should i keep the factory sub cause i wont notice an improvement with the Kappa?
Later on ill replace my back speakers with some Infinity 62.5. Im keeping the factory HU cause i like how it matches and the 6 disc in dash CD changes.
Well thanks for any comments.

Oh yes another thing. I really dont feel like intsalling these so i called a place that i knew that worked on a 350z before and he said it would cost $200 to install all of this. That a good price or am i getting ripped?

For $200 total install I am assuming he will just replace stock sub and bolt in new one. Don't think you will be happy with that as the stock space is way too big and open for a sub. My installer built a box and filled space full of Dynamat. Sounds incredible only with a heavy bass hit there is alittle rattle which is probably stock sub cover. Most installers charge around $80 for front components and $50 for an amp but sub installs run $200 and up. If you don't want to spend that much for the sub install don't expect much improvement. My installer spent MANY hours getting the box right and the dynamatting in the sub spot. It is very labor intensive. Good Luck

get a box made for that sub!
i think .75cubic feet should be about right and should fit well in there.
make sure you get the right high level converter!! (bose specific)
those infinities will sound nice

cannot get a box built for the sub. I need all the trunk space i can get and putting a sub back there makes me have almost no trunk space at all....
Would i notice a difference with just putting the sub in the stock location? Would dynamating the stock sub box help?
Or should i just not get the sub and save my money?

Ok i think im gonna do something different.
Going to wait to get the speakers for a while.. Im thinking of getting Alpine MRV-F340 AMP and using my Bazooka RS8A-HP.
Since the Sub has its own amp that ALPINE MRV-F340 will be fine right? Quality wise its just as good as the MRV-F450 right?
Thanks
