Default need advice on PS2-no data message

I installed my ps2 in my z yesterday and the game portion works fine. I turned off parental control function off and I still cannot watch any movies. It says no data. Anyone run across this before or have any suggestions? Thanks!

Figured it out. By the way I do not have navi, just added a monitor with a fm modulator. Anyway, the ps2 is bad. It plays games but not movies. Went and purchased another one at lunch time and installed it and it works great. Thanks for the reply though!

Default Sound with FM modulator

Hey, what's the sound quality with the FM modulator like?

I'm looking at mounting an external DVD player in the glove box, LCD where the Nav screen goes, and using FM modulator to play sound through the stereo system.

I don't expect full DVD quality sound through the modulator, but will I get CD quality, or FM radio quality, or something even worse?

sounds good but it has some hissing that might get a little annoying. I don't know if I need a filter or what. Otherwise it's great!

where/how did you mount the ps2?

I want to put an xbox or PS2 in my Z.

I have ~20xbox games, but may get a ps2 simply b/c the control can be used for dvd playback and its a little smaller. Are you using a fibre optic cable to relay the IR remote or the control pad?
