I was swayed away from this battery because of my audio equipment.. I was also told with this battery your car should be started at least once a week..

Battery Type: Dry Cell
Max Peak Discharge: 2600 Amps
5-Second Cranking Output: 1200 Amps
Cold Cranking Output: 630 Amps
Nominal Capacity: 44 Ah (C20 rate)

Stinger brings you the new Power2 Dry Cell battery; the most powerful, compact and reliable car audio battery available anywhere. Utilizing the latest in advanced battery technology, the Power2 was created with the car audio enthusiast in mind. Offering staggering high current capability, superior fast recharge rate, and true deep cycle operation, this "Dry Cell" battery allows complete discharge with no negative effects. Stinger s Power2 is a totally sealed, corrosion free, zero maintenance design that allows custom installation inside the vehicle or engine compartment. The versatility of the Power2 allows it to be used as a secondary deep cycle battery or primary engine start power source. The technical superiority of Stinger s Power2 leaves inferior and outdated designs behind. The Dry Cell battery utilizes pure virgin lead (99.99%) transformed into ultra thin, tightly packed plates to provide the ultra low internal resistance. An absorbed glass mat (AGM) separator utilizes micro fibers to suspend the electrolyte within the battery. There is no liquid to spill or leak. Oversized internal tabs are vibration and shock resistant and transfer the available current more efficiently. All of these technical advances terminate with the corrosion free, copper alloy terminals. Built for extreme duty performance, long service life and maintenance-free operation, Stinger s Power2 Dry Cell will not leave you stranded for power.

I'm not getting into who's ***** is bigger. However... You have 133 more pluse cranking amps & 205 more cold cranking amps to my 15 pounder. Oh and my battery was $240 CF wrapped, $189 non-CF wrapped.

I really like the Braille battery, I like the fact that it's different, looks nice, saves weight. I'm a little leary on it's power for use in a daily driver with an audio system though.

As for the Stinger battery, yes, it's a nice battery. I know 350zspl is a dealer for Stinger, so he probably got a great deal on it, but for the average person it doesn't make sense, considering you could buy the exact same battery from Odyssey (who Stinger buys the batteries from and then sticks their label on it) for a much cheaper price.

Good Info there. You are aware that Braille make a 20lb that has a bit more juice to it. However when I called and talk to Braille I was told that the 15lb ( what I own) can handle small aftermarket systems.

Yeah, I did check out the site and saw the 20 or 21 Lb. battery. The specs look like it can handle a decent load. I may have to try it out. My system isn't too taxing, both of my amps are class D and I'm only pushing about 700 watts RMS.

Yeah... I plan on running one JL W3 10" around 300 watts so I should be ok w/ the 15 pounder. Of course nothing major on the componets also. Around 400-500 watts max.

I am a big fan of the Exide Orbital batteries, but I might try out the Braille B3121....too bad I can't use that same sweet looking mount you have on yours for the B3121 though.
