Default woot just installed screen and DVD player!

Got the screen on ebay for only about 200 bucks, a new in box Farenheit 7001. Everyone else who says it fits perfect is right. I just put double sided tape all the way around it and slapped it in. The DVD player is a BOSS DVD-2800 thats in the glove box.
The picture quality of the farenheit is a lot better than all the cheapo audiovox stuff I see on display at car stereo places.

Here are some pictures:

Looks clean. Nice job.

Does the Pioneer HU control the DVD player, or does it just have input for the audio and you control the dvd with a remote?

Also, how does the screen look compared with something like an Alpine or Xenarc that people are using? I do like the look of the install!!

Nope, right now I have 3 remotes, the one on the steering wheel for the head unit, one to turn the LCD on and off, and one for the DVD player. The audio from the DVD player plugs into the AUX input ion the head unit. Hopefully I can find a cheap learning remote so I could at least replace the 2 for the screen and DVD player with one remote.

As for the screen quality, I've never seen those other brands in action, so I can't say.

I think you could fit that DVD player into one of the cubby holes if you wanted. You'd have a flat floor in the glove compartment then, but you'd also have a non-stealth DVD player.....

Default monitor

I am searching for a farenheit 7001 monitor and can't seem to find that model. Can you give the exact model number?
