I like that picture. It looks like you're being abducted (or actually, already have been).

Install looks great!

Doc:

Im incredibly envious! Makes me wish I didnt get the stock NAVI unit. Oh well. Also, bravo on handling the install by yourself. I wish I had the courage to tinker with that stuff on my own. Incidentally, if someone in South Florida can come up with a way to put the In-car PC by changing the headunit let me know.

Congrats again, and enjoy

Lauderdale, CoPilot so far is really neat. I haven't really had a chance to really put it through the paces yet but it seems to be working flawlessly.

I am amazed at the things I have done on my own to this car. A few years ago I wouldn't have so much as changed the oil but now with this seemingly endless supply of knowledge and advice from all of you guys (and girls) I have a newfound sense of bravery! Two years ago, I couldn't tell a cold air intake from a cold air front! Now, I'm putting them in my own car BY MYSELF!

Chazz's "24 hour" tech support is also very appreciated! I did have to call him once during the install for a quick question about powering the external DVD. Props to Chazz are definitely in order. This unit is AMAZING. Putting together something like this is simply NOT easy and I think he has hit a home run on this one.

I thought somebody had? Ares or at least one of the other guys at least did. I know ares had screen problems, though, so he may not have it replaced yet.

I've got the touch.

The wireless mouse still comes in handy on occassion. Some of those buttons can get quite small, and close together.

As for the wireless keyboard..... It is sitting in the glovebox. Really haven't had a use for it, but it is nice to know it is available if needed.

Hey Doc, I started configuring my PC last night, but my DVD software (WinDVD) won't work with the on-board video card. What DVD software are you using?

My PC goes in this weekend hopefully. I have an aftermarket HU. I have the touchscreen xenarc. I will post pics. I'm in jacksonville, so if anyone nearby wants to take a look at it, send me a PM.

The DVD software I used is called WINDVD Platinum. It is really a very nice program. Gives you a lot of tweaking options and the playback is very good.

I will need a mouse, because the touchscreen sensor does not reach to the farthest edges of the screen. The screen senses the stylus input to just before the edges, so if you have a window you need to minimize, or move, you need a mouse. Not absolutely necessary, but it's easier with the mouse, than trying to activate right click on the touchscreen.
