Default Bose problem. Not the common one though.

I've done some reading and I know people have problems with the sound cutting out on the left side w/ the bose system. The problem I'm having is that when I hit a bump my bass cuts out. Could it be a lose connection? Or is it a problem with the amp or headunit? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

THIS is the most common problem with the Bloze system (other than it sucks).

For the 5-10 people that have posted this complaint here I've recommended checking the connections behind the driver's seat and they've all gone away. Pull everything behind the doors out to pull the plastic down to the subwoofer and subwoofer amplifier and check those three connections.

Hey paul thanks for the response. Is there a writeup on how to do it? I'm a little confused. The amp is in the trunk? Or is it behind the subwoofer?

Anyone have an update? Mine started to cut-off and would turn back on when I went over a bump as well. Now it completely stopped working. I'm in the process of taking it apart and checking it over for loose connections. Anyone find anything else besides a loose connection, bad amp..etc.?

Its happening on your 07? Just take it back to the dealer. But if you find loose connections let me know! Check the amp for the sub behind the drivers seat.
