Is anyone else runnig 3 subwoofers in there Z
I tried the factory sub spot with all kinds of applications and didnt sound wright. Then went with a box under the strut tower and didnt have enough air space for it to sound wright. So I went with a custom built box.....it takes up the back, but sounds great and definately enough airspace. I will also include a pic of the other side of the strut tower...thats where the amp rack is. I dont travel with this car and you wouldnt fit much luggage there anway. Does anybody else have any better ideas, and has anyone had to go to this extreme with there sound system?

Have not had them metered. Reason for going with MA is they take an unregulated power supply and are stable 1/2 ohm. They also can be piggy backed(that part you cant see) to make to amps into a "extreme" amp. It throws out alot of power. I have a 2000 watt power cap running from a second battery then to the amps. Hope that answered. And thanks for compliment.

i can get MA very in-expensive
they are good bang for the buck
however with the MA amps you really don't want to use if you can;t maintain voltage
their hk 4000 & hk 10,000 don't dare dip in the 12 to 12.5 volt zone or the user will be sorry
i have a 12" ma audio sub in a slot port in my wifes car she loves it
i would guess you will meter on tones around 135-138 on the TL sealed up , and 143- 147 on the ac sealed up
350's do way better in outlaw than legal
but i appreciate the direction you went

They are fairly cheap amps, but damn do they throw out some power at 1 ohm or below. And yes the box is sealed. We are currently working on a ported box. Thanks SPL for the info and will definately take any advice. Im sure you can vouge for the Diamond Subs, as far as being in the top end of there class.

your using 1 amp on mids and highs
the other on lows
how much power are the 3 subs sharing?
ported is the way to go , but i am guessing we do not have enough room to do 3 each 12" ported
maybe 2
