Are the compustar 2wss-as on ebay legit or are they refurbished? Anyone ever have experience with them? I emailed a few of the sellers and they tell me the units are brand new from factory and never refurbished. Also, all the ones for sale are for automatic transmission only. I am having a hard time finding a 2wss-as unit for manual trans.... where can I get one?

I would like to do the installation myself since I always feel more confident doing my own work. However, if I can't get a legitimate unit I will go to an authorized dealer. How much does it cost for the unit and installation these days at a dealer?? I live outside of Philadelphia PA. Any good shops around here? Thanks!

 

i got a 2 way installed for my 6mt from www.wickedcas.com. It can be done. I'm not sure if the units are any different form each other though.
