Default Al & Ed's Autosound any good?

Just got back from the LA Auto Show and got a flyer for 50% off at Al & Ed's. Went by the shop and for $1700 installed and out the door I can get the Pioneer D3 with bluetooth and ipod connect, 1 10 inch Alpine sub with box and Alpine amp. Is this a good deal? Are they any good? Thanks for the help.

I Googled them recently in connection w/ some work I want to have done, and there was alot of very negative customer feedback.

Just FYI.

You have to bare in mind that each shop has its own installer and not are equally talented. I have seen good work from them and the old Good Guys stores, but also shady work as well. Ask around for references for a good installer versus just a big box reputation.
